Cutro shipwreck: the University of Bologna joins the call for a minute's silence and invites its community to pay their last respects to the victims

Today at 3 PM, in the Islamic cemetery in Borgo Panigale, there will be the funeral of 7 victims of the shipwreck in which 72 people lost their lives

The University of Bologna joins the call of Mayor Matteo Lepore and invites its students and staff to observe a minute's silence at 3 PM, the starting time of the private funerals of the victims of the Cutro shipwreck in Calabria.

"With this short action, we wish to express the sympathy and condolences of our entire community to the families of the victims," says Rector Giovanni Molari. "Through silence and reflection, we wish to strongly express our respect for the pain of those who have lost loved ones. We also wish to appeal to everyone to ensure that such tragedies do not happen again."
