From Knowledge to Industry, from Industry to Knowledge. The term “foodomics” first popped up in the scientific literature around 2009. In the same year, the first International Conference on FoodOmics took place in Cesena. The 6th Edition of the Conference deals with the most recent advances in the area of food and human nutrition with a multidisciplinary and comprehensive “omic” approach.
