The meeting "The value of science in Ukrainian-Italian relations'' organised by the University of Bologna in collaboration with the Konrad-Adenauer Foundation will be held on Tuesday, 28 November, at 3PM in the Sala Manfredi, Academy of Sciences (Via Zamboni, 31 - Bologna). This meeting aims to enhance the presence of Ukrainian researchers in Italy and promote future exchanges.
Indeed, the scientific collaboration between researchers from different areas of the world, sharing heterogeneous backgrounds, is fundamental for the development of the countries involved and for the institutions to which these researchers belong to. This kind of cooperation considerably enhances cultural growth, technological innovation, and socio-economic progress, and becomes all the more important during times of crisis.
Collaboration with Ukrainian researchers relates different cultural perspectives and promotes future exchanges: by building personal and professional relationships, Ukrainian scholars and their Italian counterparts can prepare for future partnerships and work in cooperation, sharing their resources and accessing international funding, benefiting both countries.
At the same time, this meeting is an opportunity for researchers from Ukraine, who are currently integrated in various Italian academic communities, to exchange experiences and knowledge with each other. This exchange aims to support the researchers individually, contribute to their academic communities of origin, and strengthen the entire network of Ukrainian universities.
