
In the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings, the University of Bologna ranks 138th globally, maintaining its position among the top 150 universities in the world. This year’s ranking includes 1,501 institutions selected from an initial pool of over 8,400 universities across 106 countries.
As a result, our University is placed in the top 10% of ranked universities and once again confirms its position within the top 1% of more than 26,000 universities worldwide. Over the past ten editions of the QS rankings, the University has improved its performance, climbing a total of 66 places.
The University of Bologna also confirms its strong performance in Academic Reputation, the ranking’s most important indicator (accounting for 30% of the total score), based on 1.5 million academic responses. In this category, the University ranks 66th worldwide.
The University also performs strongly in International Research Network, which measures the breadth and diversity of international research collaborations. Here too, it ranks among the global top 100, placing 67th.
