Student Ambassadors: The International Voice of the University of Bologna

Planning Activities for the 2024-25 Academic Year: The Kick-off Meeting of the University of Bologna's Student Ambassadors Programme, held on 13 June, brought together three hundred students from around sixty countries. The event provided an opportunity to welcome fifty new members from across the globe.

The meeting began with an icebreaking activity, Human Bingo, to encourage interaction among participants. This was followed by a presentation of the Programme, highlighting its features and upcoming goals. Each new Student Ambassador was given a minute to introduce themselves.

The final part of the meeting focused on introducing the activities planned for the 2024/2025 academic year. During a collective brainstorming session, attendees shared opinions and proposals, fostering participatory planning, creativity, and new perspectives.

Cultural Diversity and Student Involvement: Expressing the cultural richness and diversity that characterises the University of Bologna, the Student Ambassadors are involved in university orientation activities such as AlmaOrienta and Magistralmente, as well as in welcome events for new enrollees like Alma Mater Fest. Sharing their international study experiences helps make the arrival of new students more welcoming, providing them with an authentic and concrete perspective.
