Environmental, Social and Governance Sustainability: New Tools to Shape the Project Managers of Tomorrow

The new ESG4PMChange Erasmus + project, in which the Department of Management at the University of Bologna is involved, aims to enhance the integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into training courses for professionals working in project management within organisations

When it comes to sustainability in a company or organisation, today there are three fundamental dimensions that must be taken into consideration: environmental, social and governance. Hence the acronym ESG, which which serves as a framework for planning and assessing our commitment and achievements in these interconnected areas.

The new ESG4PMChange Erasmus + project, in which the Department of Management of the University of Bologna is involved, aims to enhance the integration of ESG considerations into training courses for project managers.

The project, co-funded by the European Commission, aims to provide new knowledge and skills while fostering innovative learning ecosystems for future project managers.

Higher Education Institutions, Vocational Education and Training providers, professional associations, and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises will collaborate to co-create innovative solutions that will place sustainability challenges at the heart of project management.

The ESG4PMChange project (The ESG Imperative for the Project Management World: Alliance for Developing and Empowering Changemakers), coordinated by the University of Novi Sad (Serbia), will involve the Department of Management through a research group led by Professor Matteo Vignoli, which includes Alessandro Grandi, Francesca Regoli, Claudia Pacciolla, and Sara Zanni.
