Eco Library opens in Bologna

One of the most important contemporary author libraries is opening to the public in Bologna. The collection brings to the University of Bologna the books that accompanied Umberto Eco’s work as a writer, semiotician and professor. This has been made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Umberto Eco Foundation, the donation made by his heirs to the Italian State in 2020, and the loan for use to the University of Bologna, requested by the heirs themselves from the Ministry of Culture

The new Regulations on Peer Tutoring, the update of the Guidelines on Scientific Responsibility in Institutional Research Projects, the option to include filter semester exam grades in GPA calculations, and incentive measures for staff involved in filter semester activities are among the topics discussed during the University governing bodies’ meetings in May.
