Musica in pausa, the fifth edition of the chamber music festival promoted by Collegium Musicum in collaboration with the University Museum Network (SMA), will run from 8 May to 5 June, at 1 p.m., and will include eight concerts at Palazzo Poggi (Carducci Hall, Via Zamboni 33 - Bologna), designed to enjoy a musical experience while on lunch break.
This year’s programme features five piano concerts, including two for four hands—an addition for the 2025 edition. Also on the programme are two violin duets and one concert for string quartet and recorder.
The festival will open on Thursday, 8 May with young talents from the University of Bologna, who combine their musical studies with a passion for music, namely Tommaso Paronuzzi and Sara Sole Stojmenov on violin, who will be playing to music by J.-M. Leclair, J.-P. Rameau, C.-A. de Beriot and C. Gardel.
Admission is free subject to availability. The performances will be broadcast live on the Collegium Musicum Facebook channel.
