The University of Bologna will activate one hundred and twenty-three professional master's programmes in the Academic Year 2024-25, including fourteen new projects, two of which are international: a programme catalogue increasingly aligned with the strategic objectives of the Departments, and the teaching activities of degree and PhD programmes. The professional training programme catalogue was also designed through direct consultation with businesses, associations, and institutions to meet the most current needs of the job market.
There are four new professional master's programmes in the medical area: Eating Disorders: Onset in Developmental Age, Diagnosis, Comorbidities, and Care Pathways; Laser, Lights, and Associated Techniques in Dermatology and Aesthetic Dermatology; Research Biobanks in the Scientific Ecosystem; Clinical Medicine for Sport Horses.
New projects in the social-economic-legal area include: Diplomatic and International Functions; Business and Economic Criminal Law "Filippo Sgubbi"; Expert Penal Mediator in Restorative Justice Programmes.
In the scientific-technological area, four new professional master's programmes will be activated: Advanced Emergency Management in the Transport Sector; High-Performance and Quantum Computing; MED. Media, Education, and Didactics for Digital Innovation; Precision Agriculture and Sustainable Food (AgriFood Africa). The latter is the result of an inter-university agreement between six Italian universities, with the support of the IHEA Foundation – Italian Higher Education with Africa.
Finally, in the humanities area, the new professional master's programmes include: The Educator for Educational Support in Early Childhood Services; Event Organization for the Development of Tourist Destinations; and finally, Advanced Digital Skills (Digital4Business), born from the international agreement between five European universities and numerous other partners, both public and private.
