Design Thinking

The course provides a comprehensive introduction to the principles and practices of design thinking, with a focus on its application in entrepreneurship. Throughout the course, students will learn about the user-centred approach to design thinking, which involves empathizing with users, defining the problem space, ideating and brainstorming potential solutions, prototyping and testing those solutions, and iterating based on user feedback. In addition to the core principles of design thinking, the course will also cover how design thinking can be integrated into business model development and strategic decision-making in entrepreneurship. Students will learn how to create value propositions and business canvas models using design thinking techniques and apply design thinking to develop innovative business models. By the end of the course, students will have a deep understanding of the design thinking process and how it can be applied in entrepreneurship. They will be equipped with the tools and techniques needed to create user-centred products and services that drive innovation and meet the needs of their customers.
